TGC has a long working history with the Upper Kirby Management District. The most recent project involved completing construction compliance associated with the Westheimer East project. This project also involved the draw-down of $550,000 in remaining ARRA funding. TGC applied innovative construction contract techniques in order to expend the funding prior to the lapsing of grant funding. In addition to providing compliance oversight, TGC conducted environmental assessments that resulted in the award of Categorical Exclusions for several projects within the Management District (Bissonnet, Shepherd, Farnham, and Westheimer West). TGC also developed the documentation required for receipt of a Federal Transit Administration LONP for the Bissonnet project. Within the two year span the project, through TGC pursuit of funding efforts, culminated in the application and award of $4.7M in funding through the H-GAC Call for Projects for the Shepherd and Bissonnet projects. Intergovernmental coordination was also completed as a piece of all of the aforementioned accomplishments.
