TGC reviewed The District’s Section 5311 and The Woodlands documentation to support its in-kind match for each program. This involved a review of each of the existing grants and the status of local share resources. As a result, TGC identified Waterway Corridor maintenance and security expenditures as local match for The Woodlands services.
TGC also staff met with City of Bryan staff to review LONP documentation for reimbursement and future project match for the Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP). TGC developed a strategy with The District and the City by which the value of a LONP could be drawn down from The District grants and used to provide the local share for a TAP application by the City.
TGC provided intergovernmental support relating the resolution of TAMU local match for the Bryan/College Station, which was resolved in favor of continued use of TAMU match.
