TGC assisted the City of Conroe with their first FTA Triennial Review in 2015. Prior to the on-site visit TGC assembled and coordinated the documentation required as part of the Grantee Information Request and Review Package. TGC also assisted City staff with the 2-day FTA Triennial Review. The review focused on the City’s technical, financial and legal capacity to provide public transportation. The specific areas reviewed were Financial Management & Capacity, Technical Capacity, Maintenance, ADA, Title VI, Procurement, DBE, Legal, Satisfactory Continuing Control, Planning/Program of Projects, Public Comment on Fare & Service Changes, Half Fare, Charter Bus, School Bus, Security, Drug Free Workplace/Drug and Alcohol Program, and EEO.
TGC staff followed up on Triennial findings, including assignment of responsibilities to address Triennial Deficiencies; updating Financial Management and Technical Capacity and Continuing Control policies; reviewing guidance on Drug-free Workplace Act requirements; and compiling procurement documentation.
